caloric intake
i’m 5’3/160cm so i’m on the shorter side. i eat around 600-1000 calories a day but usually closer to 800. if i eat 1200 i lose slower, so i started eating 1200, and i’ve gradually lowered my intake. if you’re taller you could eat more cals and get similar results
why protein is important:
protein decreases a hunger hormone called ghrelin. it also increases levels of peptide YY, which helps you feel full. a study showed by increasing protein from 15% to 30%, it caused overweight women eat 441 calories less per day without restriction.
meals i eat often
i eat three meals a day because it’s helped me stop binging. i don’t fast longer than 24 hours.
breakfast - protein bar/nothing
lunch - turkey wrap with lowcal sides (seaweed, string cheese, apple sauce, fruit)
dinner - soup or eggs w potatoes
snack - fruit

i try my best to eat sugar free things. i try to stay away from bread and use low carb tortillas instead. i focus on whole foods and try my best to stay away from junk food, but if i want something, i allow myself a little bit as long as it a within my cals.

i was complaining about my pants not fitting cuz they were falling off and my mom said “maybe you should eat something” and without thinking i said “how about you eat deez nuts” the spirit of ana possessed me 🧟♀️
exercise
i dont exercise often because i have a rlly packed schedule. however, i’m in marching band so i walk a LOT. i also go on occasional runs to build my endurance (around 1 mile runs, distance increases by the day).
for breakfast i try to stick with a protein bar, this easily gives 10-15g of protein for about 190-250 calories. my favorite are rx bars. or i eat a chobani flip, which has around 9g of protein. eggs would also work to get in more protein with about 3.6g of protein in each egg.
weight loss
i weigh myself 1-4 times a week, not everyday. if i weigh myself everyday and the scale goes up (for whatever reason) it usually ends up in a binge because i’m mad at myself.
increases metabolism and fat burning!!!! protein has a much higher thermic effect compared to carbs and fats . (20-35%, compared to 5-15%). it can also maintain weight loss. overall super helpful and healthy!
metab/maintenance days
i allow myself to have one metab day and one maintenance day a week. however, i don’t go crazy and still count calories. i still opt for whole foods, but i occasionally treat myself to something i’ve been craving.
so i bought lulu lemon leggings and they didn’t fit because they were too small. i worked rlly hard and about a week later they fit me (i was speed running). my friends were like “there’s no way they fit you already” like i’m literally an0r3x1c let me show you what i can do 🤓👆🏻
