Hi! This is the ™️ Spreadsheet for 2024. All of this year's matches I highly recommend will be posted in the link. You can find stats for sections, show recommendations, available links to watch these matches, and more.
Thank you for checking it out!
I'm watching this as a long time CM Punk fan who saw the Pipebomb promo, his back and forth with Cena before MITB 2011, his promos against Lesnar and Heyman, the First Dance, his promos against MJF and Eddie, and even his return at Survivor Series.
This is hollow, soulless, and
MJF/Punk is arguably AEW's best feud ever, one of the best feuds this past decade, and I'd even go far as to say one of the best I've ever seen.
This shit *is* professional wrestling.
Let me knock them down:
- Punk return was really cool, smart by WWE
- Punk is a hypocrite, period
- WWE is hot, AEW is lukewarm
- AEW isn't dead, they'll be more than fine
- WWE will always be the villains of this story
- Wrestling fans stink
These can all exist at once. 👍
Bro if I'm AEW, I'd ignore all that. For real, you are on fire right now so just keep doing business as usual and let the inevitable play out as it will. No need to even address that promo at all.
Do a BTE skit and keep it moving. That shit was smelly, don't even legitimize it.
I need to give Matt Cardona his dues.
I will proudly admit I was wrong, I didn't think he'd make a difference after being cut from WWE but by roaming in all of the promotions, winning World titles, reinventing himself, he is the superstar he should have been years ago. Kudos. 👏
Don't see why people are surprised with Booker T. WWE's been sending out their media guys before, during and after Punk's return to shit on his moment. This is nothing new or surprising.
They've been shook for two years now. All of them know what Punk in AEW means. Expect more.
AEW should let HOOK simmer, as well. I know most are joking about "next TNT champion" and "HOOK v. Bryan/Omega/Punk/etc" but let this one develop naturally at his own pace. He should be a special attraction in the ring until he's fully ready.
Keep the mystique, don't rush it.
Y'all act like it's a meme or online thing but AEW fans fuck with Riho heavy and will defend her through the depths of hell when one of you niggas talk greasy on her name. She's always over.
Glad she's back!
This isn't "lol u mad", "cope" or " hurr durr tribalism". This is just reality. He crawled back, was going to be a good little boy, and collect his check while cutting these promos that 2005/2011 Punk would destroy him for.
Professional wrestling. Nothing like it.
AEW is the best wrestling company in the world today. Period.
Great Dynamite. Great go home show. Great crowd. Just...great. All Out about to do it AGAIN.
Eddie Kingston was supposed to retire in 2020. I think people forget how things could have ended for him in a different timeline.
I'm very proud of that man.
I'll just say it:
Punk knew he fucked up with AEW big time but he has no other choice. He didn't think TK would actually fire him and he doesn't want to be back there but he's got to make his money elsewhere and that's ok. Wasn't going to be Impact or New Japan so 🤷🏿♂️
Don't want to hear bitching about Swerve and Hangman. You all wanted more top or near top guys going at each other. Someone's going to lose, deal with it.
Enjoy the ride.
I *love* that Cole defied all "dumb babyface partner" tropes and knew as soon as he gave MJF the belt and turned around that he thought his fate was sealed but Max one upped him in this game of chess.
This is legitimately great storytelling.
One of the greatest AEW PPVs of all time, as I said last week
Tonight was a statement PPV, the roster and staff were angry and left those emotions in the middle of the arena. AEW isn't going anywhere and it's about time many of you realize that.
Excellent event from AEW.
Punk licking the Endeavor boot for Vince once again will be a bigger blow to his legacy than any situation he ever caused or was a part of in AEW.
Absolutely negates the Pipebomb and everything he allegedly stands for (It's wrestling, I know. Still.) That's gonna be a sad day.
It's weird but Dean Ambrose (apart from some moments) is a faint memory to me. Like, I sit and ponder that Mox used to be that guy once upon a time. The difference is legit staggering.
Everyone is finally realizing how cooked this Bloodline storyline has become when the few knew it was over by February with Sami.
Yeah Cody and the Usos gave it some life but the fumes were beginning to develop because of their white hot business. Now we're just coasting.
Niggas will not let Punk enjoy this title run, huh? After seven years? Doing some of his best work?
We really don't deserve this era of pro wrestling. At all. When this shit is over, and it will, I'm out.
According to PW Insider:
John Morrison is not signed to AEW, but the door is open for him to return.
I personally would like to see him return to IMPACT.
Special shout-out to Toni Storm. She is arguably the best women's champion in company history and put in work every time she was in the ring or on TV.
She deserves her flowers.
I'll say this because I've said it before. AEW needs to grow their managerial/backstage staff ASAP. They aren't a startup company anymore, they are a major league wrestling company now. Hire managers to run different sections and expand. That should be the priority over talent.
Dynamite was GREAT tonight. Not ok. Not good. Great.
That felt like the AEW of old, celebrating their 2000th episode. On top of the good matches and segments, it was just great vibes. AEW saved my wrestling fandom and I'm glad they are thriving.
Here's to 200 more.
Screw it.
We're over a year into the World title reign and I have one observation that I'm confident in. It's clear that Max without a filter simply cannot create an enticing story or cater to the audience he's been with since day one.
I like MJF. He's a very good wrestler and,
I'm watching this as a long time CM Punk fan who saw the Pipebomb promo, his back and forth with Cena before MITB 2011, his promos against Lesnar and Heyman, the First Dance, his promos against MJF and Eddie, and even his return at Survivor Series.
This is hollow, soulless, and
With Ole Anderson's passing today and Sting's final week this week, it is only right that I show one of the best Four Horsemen segments ever.
The Clash in 1990 where Ole, Arn, and Ric kick Sting out of the group. Ole's promo was intense as it went along. An underrated promo.
Forbidden Door & All In are doing gangbusters, on top of a new TV right deal. This will be AEW's biggest business year.
The days of 2019, "kumbaya and rainbows" mom and pop shop AEW are long over. They are a proper major league promotion with a global reach.
Keep that in mind.
Few things I learned tonight:
- I think Ricky's winning the Owen taking the loss tonight.
- Punk's Cena 2011/Bret 1997 and it's gonna rule.
- Jay White is gonna be FINE.
- Gunns lowkey stole the match.
Eddie, man.
He wrestled and defeated his hero, will step in Korakuen for the first time next month, enters his first G1 and his hero wears his merch.
I must stress that this man was planning to retire before TK and Cody gave the call.
Whether you side with him or not on recent events, the absolute retconning and revisionism of CM Punk's AEW run is absolutely shameful and embarrassing from people, including those I respect.
Wrestling fans really are some of the worst people from any fandom in entertainment.
"It wasn't supposed to be like this."
With everything that has happened since the downfall of the

Remember a month ago when I said as AEW continues to grow successfully that more sharks will appear in their ocean looking for an opening to "help"?
Well...
Gotta hand it to the Fed.
Luring an EVP away from your competition and giving him enough to think he'd be different coming back to WWE when the intention was to "cool his jets" at the grandest stage twice to be spiteful is quite a nasty fear.
All is fair in love and war.
Shit, Im just glad Danielson got to do this AEW run at the end of the day. Same reason with Punk.
Their time is almost up. The 2000s era is running out of time. Gotta take what we can get.
I'll say this now but in the event that CM Punk does head back to the multi-billion dollar company that fired him on his wedding day, made him gravely ill to near death, and is ran by a man who politically & personally hates him, he's the epitome of a sellout.
Period.
Seen it three times already. Folks...it's a death match classic, especially in America. Hardcore matches from this point forward will look at this match for inspiration.
Hangman with two All Timer TDMs in one year. Swerve was finally put on the map. Commentary was peak. Cage and
This was expected but to make it seem like Cody "led" the competition of "sports entertainment" rather than a group effort that was catalyst of North American wrestling being saved is funny. Nonetheless.
Their PR game is top tier, this Federation.
The inception of AEW:
“Following that success, Cody led a team that created a new wrestling promotion.
On January 1st 2019, All Elite Wrestling, also known as AEW, was born.”

WWE couldn't even purchase NOAH on their deathbed or STARDOM while enticing Rossy with a bullshit HOF spot, what made them think they would have acquired New Japan lol
Asuka became WWE Women's champion, Shida became AEW Women's World champion, and now Syuri has become World of Stardom champion tonight.
As someone who has followed the trio for years, I'm extremely happy for all three. They did it.
#STARDOM
This is actually a good point. Having these kind of segments outside of AEW during their PPV weeks helps the local promotion while adding intrigue to your events with anticipated matches.
That's why the "AEW killed the indies" line is peak stupidity, all things considered.
#AEW
has weirdly captured those Year One moments this year as wrestlers continue feuds at various indie shows similar to Jericho showing up at RevPro attacking Opsreay the night before All In. Makes it feel like anything can happen during AEW PPV weekends
