Every visit to the Al Jem Colosseum reveals newer facets to this UNESCO world heritage site. Built about 238 AD, it could accommodate 35000 people and would have seen lots of gladiatorial fighting and blood shedding. 🇹🇳

Temple of Water In Zaghouan. Aqueduct built 2nd Cent. AD with channel about 90x130 cm got water to baths and cisterns in Carthage traveling over 90 km with drop of 264 m at average decline of 0.3%. Some sections are underground and others supported by arches over 20m high.
