Happy to share that I have joined
@AvailProject
engineering team as the next step in my career. Looking forward to solving new challenges with some of the brightest minds in the space.
Decided to look into how Erasure Coding works and how it enables
@AvailProject
to prevent a malicious actor from being able to hide any part of a block up to the redundant shard size and more.
A thread ⏳
If you are at ETH Sydney, and looking to build on
@AvailProject
,we have a booth at the main hall.
From high level web3 talks, to low level deep tech discussions, feel free to drop by.
There is a lot of unawareness in the crypto space. Many people who forcefully go through the pain of
#Ethereum
gas fees for no reason at all. There are so many alternatives, major protocols are moving towards these. IMO:
Best L1 alternates:
@harmonyprotocol
,
@solana
,
@Polkadot
Hello Guys, my crypto wallet got hacked yesterday. This is the hacker’s ethereum wallet -> . Last transaction was made from
@binance
. If anyone has any direct connection in
@binance
please help. The`decentralizedev.eth` is my wallet that got hacked.
Learning any field is a tedious process. That includes Blockchain. Being a Blockchain Developer is not just learning
#SOLIDITY
,
#javascript
, and you are done.
I will try to break this down into two types.
Several projects coming into the industry, aiming to create more scalable and robust alternative to
#Ethereum
. Reasons I think
@harmonyprotocol
is probably the best candidate in this:
1.Low Gas Fee !!
2.Just 2 seconds Block Finality !
3 Ethereum Compactable -

@EtherealSummit
2021 Day 1, a really good experience. Attended talks with 5 different talks today.
Of course, one of them was from none other than
@stse
talking about "Interoperability with On-Chain Bridges and Wallets".
@harmonyprotocol
Can someone explain to me how these fake token scams work that you receive whenever you do a valid erc20 transaction?
Like if I engage with them, max to max there can be a payable function with drains my native token. What else (a few points in the thread )?
#Ethereum
Something weird happening:
- I send 4844 txs on-chain from 2 of my wallets.
- Now
@MetaMask
won't even send legacy transactions to network from those 2 wallets ?? Already tried increasing the nonce ( EIP 4844 txs weren't picked up by the node ).
What is going on ?
Another phase of life coming to an end. Although COVID took 1.5yrs of hostel life away from us, the experiences and fun this place offered will remain unrivaled. The fact that we won't be going back here is hard to realise.
New adventures now !!
Thank you

My
@ETHGlobal
submission done. Several issues came along the way and weren't able to complete the entire MVP in time. Hope to have an MVP by the end of this month for an official launch :)
The text i have written the most om the last few months repeatedly:
"Hey, Thanks for considering. Unfortunately not looking for a new role at the moment."
#Etherum
#web3
You also need to work on:
-
#smartcontracts
auditing and security.
- Understand the algorithms behind all these different
#DeFi
protocols if that's the area you wanna contribute to.
- For things like gaming, look at all the solutions build around
#NFTs
.
@enjin
for instance.
We're excited to announce our participation in
@AvailProject

not sure what issues are you facing. I have been deploying contracts for the last 2 3 days on testnet and everything is working fine for me. You can check out the transactions here.
My first
@Apple
purchase
As a kid I always was dreaming of having an Apple product, owing to its high cost.
Today it feels so good to have my first product bought using my own dime 😍

@POpsTeam1
For me it all started from the hackathon conducted in Oct 2020, and then found pops. It was then that I found out a chain, which can not only do everything ETH, but better.
So what is pairing function? it's the function, usually represented as "e" as:
e ( g^x, h^y ) = e ( g^y, h^x ) = e ( g, h ) ^xy ....
Basically you can play around with the power of a given number of the form a^b.
Must watch these amazing projects build during
@KERNEL0x
Block 4 !!!!!!
Amazing presentation by
@cjhtech
on
@atlantis0x
, the project I joined during my Kernal Adventure !!!
Definition of a rational function ?
A rational function on an elliptic curve over a finite field Fq is a ratio of two polynomials in the coordinates of the curve. These functions can have zeros and poles at points on the curve.
fp = q(P) - q(O) for the previous diagram.
Afraid of death !! ?
Ever had a linux os broken ? The thought of having to setup/installing everything again is much more terrifying !!!!!

Tickets confirmed for both me and my friend
@apoorvlathey
!
Let's meet in
@ETHDubaiConf
Let me know if anyone else is also coming from my network. Would be nice to meet more Web3 people there!

Parallel Execution
Monad uses optimistic execution. This means that Monad will start executing transactions before earlier transactions in the block have completed. Sometimes (but not always) this results in incorrect execution.
It leverages two concepts: Pipelining and Asynchronous I/O.
Pipelining is a technique for implementing parallelism by dividing tasks into a series of smaller tasks which can be processed in parallel.
What are bilinear pairings?
A bilinear pairing is a map:
G1 x G2 -> Gt, where G1, G2, Gt are cyclic groups of the same order r. G1 and G2 are typically subgroups of an elliptic curve group, and Gt is a subgroup of a multiplicative group of a finite fields.
Monad is a EVM compatible L1 blockchain, but with some major rethinking around the core pillars of Ethereum. As a result, it is able to process upto 10,000 transactions per second. They recently released there devnet.
( Threshold signatures are a cryptographic technique that divides the ability to produce a digital signature among multiple parties. No single party can sign on behalf of the group. Instead, a subset of the parties (the "threshold") must collaborate to produce a signature. )
A slight visualisation:
- "fp" is a "rational function" associated with the point P.
- "e" is the Tate pairing function defined in terms of certain "divisors" and functions associated with points P and Q.
- we have an extension fields over Fp ( finite field of the curve )
I am in the process of getting a police complaint ready to send to
@binance
support. In the meantime if anyone has any connection that would be super helpful.
@cz_binance
Deferred Execution
In Ethereum, execution is a prerequisite to consensus, so when nodes come to consensus on a block, they are agreeing on both (1) the list of transactions in the block, and (2) the merkle root summarizing all of the state after executing that list of transaction
Monad takes advantage of this insight by removing the requirement that nodes execute prior to consensus. Node agreement is purely about the official ordering; each node executes the transactions in block N independently while commencing consensus on block N+1.
