We all wished Miss Crainie and Miss McKeown happy, blessed wedding days, as they are both getting married in the summer. They will return as Mrs Mason and Mrs Wright.
We celebrated a beautiful St Andrew’s Day Mass this morning in our 50th Anniversary year. Thank you to Archbishop
@leocushley
and Fr Daniel for leading our celebration and all of the guests who came along to help us celebrate. 🏴🙏🏻🏴
We also said farewell to Mrs Devlin today too. The Pupil Council made a fab video of some of the pupils and staff saying a fond farewell. She has been an amazing Head Teacher and we are all going to miss her. We wish her all the best in her retirement! God bless.
A huge thank you to our amazing PTA (minus a few members 😀) and all the other helpers today for their outstanding effort. Our Christmas fete was a huge success. Thanks to all the families for coming along too!
Thank you to all of the pupils who helped make our Welcome Mass really special. Thank you to Fr Jamie for celebrating with us, not just today but over the years he has been our parish priest. Today was his last Mass with us.
Mrs Harkins spoke about her career and her many happy years at St Andrew's. Everyone enjoyed listening to her wonderful memories. There was crying and laughter.
Congratulations and thank you to our staff for persevering with the initial technical issues and providing all our pupils with quality online learning and teaching.
What a team!
A huge thank you to Fr
@Boylej1James
who celebrated our Welcome Mass with us yesterday with the help of our
@pupil_pupilreps
. The Mass was live streamed to all of our classes from our P6/7 Area.
We wished Miss Noon, Miss Duffy and Miss S Quin all the best as they are all getting married over the summer holiday. Keep them in your prayers everyone.
Thank you to all of the children who helped during the Mass and the staff and pupils who put such great effort into preparing for our special day. The children were an absolute credit to their families and school. Well done everyone and ‘Happy St Andrew’s Day’! 🏴🙏🏻🏴
A huge congratulations to our Mrs Harkin’s Service Award winner, M from P7. She has always served her school well but this year more than ever. She trained a large group of P5 children as altar servers, sharing her gifts and talents with others. What an excellent role model.
The Infant Nativity was beautiful this morning. The boys and girls got us in the festive spirit by reminding us of the true meaning of Christmas. Thank you to them and their teachers.
A huge thank you to Fr
@Boylej1James
, our altar servers, our
@pupil_pupilreps
and our House Captains for helping us to celebrate our Welcome Mass on Friday. We were reminded to
#putonlove
each day before we come to school. ❤️
A huge thank you to all of our staff, pupils and their families for making it another wonderful year at St Andrew's. Enjoy your holiday, have a well earned rest and stay safe.
Congratulations to our P7 Pope Francis Faith Award candidates who attended a celebration Mass at St Francis Xavier’s Church. Thank you to Fr

We had a lovely Christmas lunch today. Everyone was full of Christmas spirit and enjoyed chatting and eating with their friends. Thank you to our wonderful kitchen staff! 🥰
A huge thanks to the children who were involved in our

.
@archedinburgh
Well done to these PFFA candidates who set up this lovely area for children to come along and write the names of loved ones they would like us all to pray for in November.
1/2 J in P7 did not want Covid to stop us from being able to give out Christmas cards to our friends so he has created a postbox and a collection/delivery schedule to help us do this safely. The post system will be open from 1st December. 💌
Some of our former pupils now
@StMungosFalkirk
returned for the Celebration Mass as well as some pupils from
@Francis_Xaviers
. It was lovely to see them.
P5S entertained us all with an amazing rap they made with
@MrsWebster_Mus
about Mrs Sharp! Well done everyone. They also gave her some gifts they made for her. Goodbye and good luck in your retirement Mrs Sharp! You will be greatly missed!
Thank you to these lovely children and Fr Daniel from
@FalkirkCatholic
for helping us to celebrate a beautiful St Andrew’s Day Mass this morning. 🏴🏴🙏🏻🙏🏻
Thank you to all of the pupils who participated in the Dance Exhibition, the amazing P7 team who organised the event and C from P7 who was our photographer. Amazing!
Yesterday we gathered as a school to celebrate our 50th Anniversary in our current building. We sang our song, look at photos showing how much our school has changed and tried to see if we could ‘Guess Who?’ with lots of the photos sent in by staff and former pupils.
Fantastic, 66% attendance online today! Let’s see if we can keep this up or even improve throughout the week.
Remember, please email the school if you have any problems.
Congratulations to the children who were chosen by their teachers and their friends as our gospel values certificate winners this month for 'Truth and Justice'. Excellent!
