My opinion on UNI2 at EVO: Once again, EVO has proven that Under Night In-Birth is a game much more based on good players than good characters. When we talk about results considering previous majors, we notice that the champions are based on: Gordeau, Byakuya, and now Eltnum. +

General trivia: jump assault is simplified. Back in the days some players struggled to do 76D, 86D or 96D to jump assault. Now we just need to 9D to do it. Pretty cool. #UNI2 #UNI2_CR

And placing these three characters along with an average of all UNI2 tier lists created so far... we see that none of these characters are being quoted for TOP5. At most, Byakuya in A in a mid position. Eltnum and Gordeau are way down.

Here I show that we couldn't confirm from 22X CH. But now we got so many frames to just run and confirm, its ridiculous. Then I featured some obvious confirms in addition of 2C. 2C otg can be a bit risky, so I think 2A is more reliable. #UNI2_CR

Sometimes the first 5B can not whiff and you lose a good opportunity to guarantee something. In this 5B 6AB OS you'll get the smart skill if 5B hits and 5BwB if it hits. Pretty useful, since you won GRD for it. #UNI2_CR

Updating the 5A 2C 6B 5BB route. 15f 66C makes j.CBB much easier to confirm. 66C 214A 22C to setup its optimal. Old route was around 2900. #UNI2_CR

Some recent sideswitches. 2B 2C 6BB sideswitch can be tricky but the thing is: you need to run before leaving the bomb. Sounds weird but you'll get it. 2C 5BB 6[B] 66C 66[FF] sideswitch its easier than looks. Remember to put 2B straight instead of 3B or 1B. #UNI2_CR

Assault.j.A ]X[ new route. With 66C being faster, we can rely on this for this confirm. There's a bunch of plus on doing it: - you're +2 on 22A if your opponent blocks the j.A - almost +100 damage in comparison to the old 6B 66B 66C route (...) #UNI2_CR

Sometimes I wonder what Notes-san would create with this. In UNI2 you have a few frames after the IC shiny that you can do stuffs and keep holding the bomb. Like VO, or even BC in 214[B] But the timing is a bit awkaward, prolly a thing who Notes could do consistently #UNI2_CR
