I am 50 today! I celebrate the woman who breastfed me for nearly 3 years, still cooks for me when I visit, & calls my children her husbands. I remember her real husband who passed on this same day 36 years ago. He would have made 88 in December. Thank you all for the memories!

Friends, the High Court in Kampala has this afternoon agreed to dissolve our marriage of nearly 20 years. It was not all pretty, but I thank God for the life we shared for about 18 years. Jackie and I will continue sharing the responsibility of bringing up our boys. 🙏🏽

I got the 20% from my NSSF "mid-term access" within 6 days. But I'm not here to praise @nssfug . I'm here to complain. See I used most of my NSSF money to clear a loan. Nobody advised I could have refused to pay and argued that I had taken the loan under duress.

A thread on #UGDecides2021 . Election Day was generally peaceful ('largely violence-free' is more accurate). But certainly this wasn't a transparent election. There are credible reports of rigging & voter suppression. But most of the numbers being thrown around prove very little.

Who else has had their U.S. visa application go thru "administrative processing"? 15 weeks after I answered some "additional questions" there is still no visa. I was supposed to travel on 3 June. @usmissionuganda says this is a Washington, DC affair. Hey @StateDept , @TravelGov !

Last night I saw a TV news anchor pretty much doing an ad/promo for MTN. Other than the tag, "MTN Shares", at the top of the screen it wasn't very clear this was in fact an ad. We all understand the need to make ends meet, but good people these things undermine your credibility.
