This is my first time playing in a Team Challenge and I wish I'd played in the first 3. Its a super unique way to play the Pokémon TCG that I'd like to stick around. There is a skill in drafting the perfect 4 decks and choosing who sits out based on what your opponents bring.

A PSA regarding 2024 Cup & Challenge Best Finish Limits. Currently Challenges & Cups are showing up under 'Unlimited' which is a 'catch all' for any events without a BFL (just the ICs). This most likely means they have yet to implement BFLs. There's no need to stress just yet!

The 4 additional Day 2 invitations in Latin America was a welcome change that I think everyone can agree with and is a decision that should've been made a while ago. The 2x Day 2 invitations for ME/ZA (Middle East and South Africa) is another great change to the World's circuit.

Lowering the threshold by 50 points in LATAM, OCE & MEZA doesn't change the fact that these regions are begging for more Regionals/ Special Events. Countries like New Zealand, Argentina, Peru, Chile, ect. with sizable player bases have ZERO major events announced for the season.

A huge thanks to all the people I worked with over the past 3 years. The fact that I played the exact same 60 cards as the winner of every Regionals I attended this season, shows the quality of players I was working with. I couldn't have accomplished what I did without them.

The obvious thing as an OCE player would be to jump up and down about how unfair it is that we had our Day 2 Invitations allocation cut in half (8➡️4). However, our region now only represents only 2 countries and our majors just lack attendance. It's rough but makes total sense.

tl;dr LATAM Day 2: 8➡️12 = 👍 MEZA Day 2: 0➡️2 = 👍 OCE Day 2: 8➡️4 = 🙃 Day 1 Thresholds = 🤷‍♂️ (depends on how locals are structured when they return).
