New Salamis (Isthmian 1 North) have announced they are to fold their senior side this summer. If the rules are applied as written, then they'll be treated as a relegated side meaning 19th in that division will get a reprieve (currently Stowmarket Town).

As a @Ware_FC fan, I am absolutely gutted that the FA have declared Steps 3-6 of the non-league pyramid to be null and void for this season. So many at the club worked incredibly hard to get us into a place where promotion was possible.

I've updated parts of the doc. But get ready for further changes. I am hearing the following: 💠Only six playoffs 💠Saltdean United have failed ground grading, Newhaven to playoffs 💠Yorkshire Amateur to be demoted. Sheffield reprieved. 💠Hadley, Wroxham, Exmouth all promoted.

The 2019/2020 FA rules and regs are out. The main difference in non-league is that they’ve put the line “if a vacancy occurs, then it shall be dealt with at the sole discretion of the Committee”. The basically means the FA will do what they want.

Thank goodness! My document () was correct with it's workings out that Corinthian Casuals ( @CorinthianCas ) would be promoted to Step 3 and Highworth Town ( @HighworthTownFC ) would be promoted to Step 4. Phew 😅! Here's the full line ups for Steps 3 and 4.

I really liked the idea of video technology being used in football. But the way that FIFA have implemented it with VAR is absolutely awful. It’s changing the game, and not for the better. So glad it’ll go nowhere near non-league.

Full time in the first Step 4 playoff final. Horsham have won it and guaranteed promotion. That result is bad news for Radcliffe, Yate, Leek and in particular Heybridge Swifts who now need the planets to align to go up. #FArcical 🤯🤬🤷‍♂️

The important bits of my non league document has been updated. Most leagues now finished. Step 4 playoffs: Sutton Coldfield, Bedford Town and Haywards Heath enter them knowing they cannot go up if they win their respective playoffs.

Heybridge Swifts have won their Step 4 playoff final!! But they don’t know if they’ll be promoted. How absolutely crazy is that?! 🤯 Swifts are relying on Cinderford Town beating Yate Town tomorrow. If Yate win, Yate go up and Swifts suffer heartbreak.

Just back from the Playoff Final. Absolutely gutted as a Ware fan, especially after we came back to 2-2. Well done to North Leigh. Absolute fairytale for them after thinking their season was over with on final day of the season. For a village side to be at Step 3 is superb!

BIG news coming from the FA this afternoon. I’ve updated my spreadsheet to show the impact: 🔸 all Isthmian 1 SC clubs pushed one up 1 🔸 a 7th step 4/5 playoff is needed 🔸 demoted clubs will push others up the table, whoever they may be.

The FA says that “Whyteleafe FC’s resignation happened after the Isthmian League AGM but before the end of the playing season and so they WILL be classified as a relegated club.” This will also have an impact on reprieves.
