Just watched the most New Jersey thing ever. A woman at a deli just bought the most insane amount of fresh mozzarella I’ve ever seen ordered. Like an incompressible amount. Then paid $675 in cash. I wish I knew why she needed that much cheese/ had that much cash! I stand in awe

Just left @Paris2024 Olympic Games and I can say that (with apologies to my old home city of London), it was the best Olympic Games I’ve ever been to (and it was my 9th Games). Tremendous venues, atmosphere, culture, food and people. C’est Bon!

And just to add, it was the first games I’ve been to where I had no credentials. Paid for all my own tickets. Rented an Airbnb and was just regular joe. The transportation, the signage , the volunteers all were amazing.

This was the most ridiculous end to a game I’ve seen. How can the clock be running while ref is still preventing ball from being snapped??? Sad ending where refs decided outcome.

Media PSA on 2026 speculation - The USOC has expressed interest in bidding for future winter Games, but we are not involved in the 2026 campaign. Our current process is to identify a U.S. city is related to a future Games with multiple cities involved in those discussions.

I’ve been ground zero on some MAJOR sports crisis stories (Lochte/swimmers in Rio, Spike Lee at MSG, etc. and many many more), don’t jump too much on NFL timing tonight. They gathered facts and I’m guessing spoke to teams, TV, partners etc and then called it within 30 mins(ish)

My father unexpectedly passed away this week. A great guy and amazing dad. I hope I’m half the dad to my kids that he was to me. While I wish he had more years in his life, he had an incredible amount of life in his years. Here is his obituary.

True story, I reactivated my ESPN+ account solely to watch the "new" NFL Prime Time. My favorite show on TV from 1980s until 2001..haven't watched for 18 years until today and it was like picking up an old baseball glove from your childhood (to mix sports metaphor). #NFLPrimetime

To clarify if Simone Biles has a mental issue, that's still an injury. It's not either /or. We need to as a society do better at understanding that. We don't know what the injury is yet but if it's mental, it's also an injury (although it seems like it's physical on reports).

I lived for a decade on a Colorado Mtn at 7,000ft/2,000m and most of my life in Chicago and this Nor'easter is the most snow I have ever seen in one storm. Two feet in less than two days. Still (slightly) snowing. Backyard tonight!

My neighbor was throwing these late 60s gems out in the recycling today. I walked by twice before deciding that I couldn't let him do it! (He's in his 90s). They are now on my bookshelf! @PaulPabst I'll loan them when I'm done.

Tom was such a nice man. Just a really good guy. This is super sad news. When I moved to Colo. Springs, Tom was one of the first local leaders to take me out and introduce me to people. Way to soon/sudden. Heart broken for all who knew him and Colorado Springs community.

Driving my daughter to school, I see a neighbor outside, roll down my window and said five words “His name is Robert Paulson.” He looks at me, without missing a beat, and said “His name is Robert Paulson.” I then drove of. Probably the best suburban dad moment of my life.
