It's my birthday.
20 years ago today I was in hospital having been involved in a bad car crash involving a drunk driver.
My arm was mangled and my face a mess. Bad times.
Years on and everything has changed.
Birthdays have got a whole lot better.
Things get better.
You heal.
I can't give any of you a hug or even shake your hand to wish you a very happy new year but I can give you a smile and wish you all much happinness wherever you are. Mx
For the past 6 months I've been seriously acutely unwell. I had to step away from the world.
Today, being strong enough to go for a long walk is a huge achievement and an unexplainable absolute joy.
I'm back.

Watched Baz Luhrmann’s
#ElvisMovie
and I can't stop thinking about the reality of what this man had to endure.
Superbly acted.
Brilliant soundtrack.
Highly recommend.👌
People who tweet "That's it, I'm done with Twitter!" then tweet again an hour later... remind of that time I decided I was running away from home then changed my mind because mom made pizza and The Fall Guy was on T.V.
May the seas lie smooth before you,
May a gentle breeze forever fill your sails,
May sunshine warm your face
And kindness warm your soul.
~ Irish Sailor's Blessing
If you ever wonder where all the Angel's on earth work I call tell you they are in the Children's hospital where my son (and I) are about to spend our 11th night. God bless him and all the angels that watch over him.
...This is the solstice, the still point
of the sun, its cusp and midnight,
the year’s threshold
and unlocking, where the past
lets go of and becomes the future;
the place of caught breath, the door
of a vanished house left ajar...

Reading the news and it now appears there might be a greater proportion of psychopaths in government than in prison.
So another reason to simply switch off and appreciate a tree.
It's so annoying when someone says the name of a song and it gets stuck in your head for the rest of the day.
Also do you like Pina Coladas and getting caught in the rain?
