We are still investigating the direct cause of this afternoon's outage and will provide further updates once a cause is confirmed.
This afternoon's outage was caused by an ongoing issue at a local Transformer Station resulting in a loss of supply.
We were able to reroute power to restore service to our customers using auto-switches and other smart grid devices.
This weekend's outages affected approximately 15% of our customer base. Crews have worked around the clock to restore power to affected areas.
We once again thank you for your patience while our team works through the night to restore approximately 430 customers without power.

The Province of Ontario announced a fixed electricity price, the COVID-19 Recovery Rate, of 12.8¢ per kWh, which will be applied to all TOU customers 24 hours/day, 7 days a week. This fixed electricity price will be in place from Jun 1 - Oct 31, 2020. 💲📃
