Hmmm ... how the hell do they remember all that stuff!! I only had 2 buttons on my steering wheel - radio and drinks - and I forgot which one was which. It didn't matter though, the radio didn't work and they never put drink in the bottle 😉

Great day at Buckmore Park circuit giving a speech and then full-on Kart racing against my mate Johnny Herbert for Holiday Extras and their clients. I set Pole position and we had a super battle but he edged me in the race. Everybody had fun, and that's what it's all about!

The last thing we all wanted to see was any opportunity to have the title decided by the Stewards or a court. However, maybe that's now what we're going to get. Why? Not because of a collision but because the FIA did not apply their own rules correctly and that is bizarre.

#F1 race drivers are using simulators and that they're getting more and more realistic to real life. In fact next year, to give the full experience, the new ones go even further and when you hit a wall on screen, a concrete block comes down to break both your ankles 😋

F1 needs easier technical terms for fans ......... so as I keep saying ... let's have 'hard' and 'soft' tyres ... that's it! No 'medium - super - ultra - etc' Anyone agree?!

#HappyBirthday Mark Blundell, 58. He started 61 #F1 GPs for Brabham, Ligier, Tyrrell & McLaren, bagging 3 podiums, but those teams weren’t at their best when he was with them. He then moved from F1 to #IndyCar , where he shone for PacWest, especially in ’97 (pic) with 3 wins.(1/2)

Wow ... what a weekend on my comeback to racing with @TitansRX non stop action ... I led 2 races (briefly I should add!) and here I am in a moment of glory fighting with Nelson Piquet Jr. It was a brilliant event with great people

Oh no, this is such sad news, another great character passed away. Sabine will of course be greatly missed. A super driver and an amazing personality. I never had the good fortune to meet her but I wish I had. A real star on and off the track. #RIPSabineSchmitz X

I’m very sad to hear of the passing of Sabine Schmitz, the only woman to have won the #N ürburgring24Hours, rightly known as ‘Queen of the Nürburgring’, & a star of @BBC_TopGear , who’s succumbed to cancer, aged just 51. #RIPSabineSchmitz

#F1 I met up with old friend, the amazing engineer, Pat Symonds recently and we talked about the new aerodynamics he's helped create in F1. During our chat about pressure and wake, I actually told him something he didn't know, ... it's that, my Mum's name is also Pat.
