He’s not afraid they won’t win, because they will, and he knows Zoro won’t die. But it’s in these moments where Sanji realizes he’s fallen so hard for Zoro— that the fear of death, injury, blood or a self sacrificing swordsman, is enough to make him cherish the fall. 11/11

Besides the obvious as to why Sanji asks Zoro to kill him if he’s not himself after the fight, I have to wonder if a part of Sanji said it to make sure Zoro wouldn’t die himself. He was already at the cusp of death and Sanji knew how bad he was, a final push if you will…
