🐞Accept it or not work without @expo on a React Native project is a hell full of weird crashes and errors. That’s why in my company we’ll considering move all out bare bones RN project to Expo. I’m happy to become an Expo expert 😁

Update on my client's React Native app 👨‍💻 I chose @tamagui_js as the UI library for the Expo project, It took me less than a week to build a custom set of reusable components, it is a great mix of flexibility and native support. I highly recommend it! (Ignore warns for now 😅)

React Native is based on web tech but there isn’t a simple way to use GridCSS, everything about layout stays on Flexbox 🤷‍♂️ On the left a implementation of a 3x3 Grid made from scratch on RN, on the right an implementation made on SwiftUI Grid View Layout is a pain on RN 🥴

@ios_dev_alb It renders native UI components under the hood, it isn’t a graphic engine wrapper (Flutter) or a website view (Ionic), and it’s even compatible with pure native modules, it’s actually posible to modify the derived native project folders on each SDK. So, sounds native to me…

React Native has better UX, but Flutter has a better DX. Is hard to decide for newbies which one is a better option for cross-platform development 🤷‍♂️ I personally choose React Native, but Flutter is an amazing tool and I think it has a lower learning curve.

I finished "State Management in Pure React" thanks to @FrontendMasters and by @stevekinney a really amazing course that bring me a different and faster way to accomplish state management tasks without the need of third party dependencies 🤠💻⚛️
