Before anyone casts a vote for Farage they should acquaint themselves with the way he behaved when he was an MEP. He was the 748th worst attendee out of 751. He turned up for only a third of votes. He was fined for misuse of EU resources.

@PetronellaWyatt You don’t help the cause of working women by focussing on her dress, which I thought was somber and professional, instead of what she said and what her team have been doing. I’ve seen many news and weather presenters wearing similar. She’s a detective, they don’t wear uniform.

@GullisJonathan So this is all you have. Starmer was voted Human Rights Lawyer of the Year for his pro bono work against the death penalty. That’s the calibre of human being I want leading this country. A man with principles and compassion. Not the grifting, self serving and corrupt Tories.

@PippaCrerar @maitlis @sussex_police Parents of children under the age of 17 must be contacted as soon as possible if arrested. She should get a lawyer involved immediately.

@Jenny_1884 The government chose to raise the pension age. Nothing to do with affording it and nothing to do with a few thousand migrants. It’s what Tories do.

@RishiSunak I’ve worked my whole life. I’m now paying tax on my very modest pension as a result of fiscal drag due to your freezing of tax thresholds. Where’s the dignity and security in that? Especially when you’ve delayed my state pension by 7 years.
