He's also the younger brother of Sir Georfry Ume-Ezeoke, the former Accountant General of Old Anambra State, & the elder brother of Chief Edwin Ume-Ezeoke, who rocked the political world as the Speaker of the Federal Republic of Nigeria under Shagari in 1979. Talented family huh!

Ogu is short stick tied with palm leaves. It serves as a symbol to resolve peaceful resolution to a dispute. It represents peace and innocence.
Once upon a time, in the swinging 60s, a young man by the name of John Obikwe ruled the music scene in Owerri. His infectious high spirits, dashing looks, and guitar skills to die for made him the talk of the town, especially among the ladies.
When the owner dies, his ikenga is ritually broken into pieces and buried with him.
Sometimes because of lack of success in one’s life, it may lead an owner to reject his existing ikenga for and get a new one.
In Igboland, ikenga still prominently upholds the value of individual enterprise in a person’s interaction with the world.
The ofo on the other hand is a staff carried by different Igbos — priests, kings, okparas and some masqueraders.
They needed a way to socialize, heal the wounds inflicted by the war, and recover from the pain of receiving a measly 20 pounds from the Federal Government as compensation for their once thriving businesses. And so, the Peoples Club was born!
