I remember this moment as one of the best throughout the entire time I've been playing Destiny. pvp wasn't perfect, but its pretty disheartening to see the way it is now in comparison. I have never felt nearly as rewarded by anything else since this gun - back in season 6.

something that hit me recently is how difficult it is for casual players to genuinely improve in the current sandbox pvp is so rng based that its hard to separate mistakes vs being unlucky. and controlled environments like scrims are typically only ran by high end players (1/2)

with the stereotypical "1 step forward 2 steps backward" pattern bungie tends to fall into its very understandable people would be frustrated after some time. they have made a lot of bad/questionable decisions over the years and tend to not learn from previous mistakes.

I think overall my point is grouping and labeling pvp players and saying "we deserve this" isn't the way to go. this isn't a one sided relationship. both the community and the company have to come on the same level. and atm, bungie needs to do better to calm down the tension.
