No such thing! The Ruler's power to appoint MB is limited by Art 4(2)(a) of the Johor Const - by which d Ruler shall appoint a person likely to command d majority of d assembly. Courts also have ruled it's a limited right e.g: Stephen Kalong Ningkan's case

Nagaenthiran’s final appeal by his mother- 3 judges grilled her by asking who drafted the ct documents, who helped her file it etc. Ct has shown no interest in the substance of the case itself ie: AG-prosecutor being judge in Nagaen’s appeals! Now ct stood down to 4.30pm

1) It's laudable of the PH govt to remove the prohibition on street protests in the PAA. That was an unconstitutional & absurd provision legislated by the BN in 2011; it made a mockery of the freedom of assembly

2) Repeal of Sedition Act 1948 does not need consent of Conf of Rulers bcoz it's a British colonial law & is thus of pre-Merdeka origin- it is NOT a law made under Art 10(4) of d Const as claimed by Tan Sri Abdul Aziz. D Const itself didn't exist when d Sedition Act was passed!

2) Since by Art 4(2)(a) d Ruler SHALL appoint person with majority support in assembly, the decision on who will be next MB is a political one by the party holding majority in d assembly, which in this case is PH.

3) Law Minister Shanmugam claims d S'porean people support d death penalty 4 drugs. How does he know I wonder. There's barely any freedom of expression in Spore. Faced wit repressive laws, d timid S'poreans daren't criticise their govt. M'sia is a beacon of freedom in comparison.

Quite unsuitable. This former CJ upheld Sedition Act as lawful in Azmi Shahrom's case, dismissed without even hearing Adam Adli's constitutional challenge on PAA & upheld Sodomy 2 conviction. He does not have d necessary human rights track record for this job.
