It is NOT possible to know if someone has HIV by looking at him or her. The only way to tell if a person has HIV is through the HIV test, which detects the presence of antibodies produced by the body in response to the HIV virus. #GetTested #KnowyourHIVstatus #Condomize

A woman with HIV can pass the virus to her baby during pregnancy or birth or through breast feeding. With medical interventions, a mother living with HIV can give birth to & raise an HIV negative baby. Expectant mothers should attend at least 4 clinic visits during a pregnancy.

We encourage all citizens to be tested for HIV and know their status with those newly diagnosed enrolled in treatment. The HIV treatment programme in Kenya is successful, with 86% of those on treatment achieving viral suppression by the end of 2021. #EndingAIDS2030

The findings of the #KENPHIA2018 results shows that among adults aged 15-64 who know their HIV positive status,96.0% were on ART programe.Among those already on treatment 90.6% were virally suppressed.....Kenya therefore has attained the second 90.. @NASCOP @UNAIDS @UNAIDS_Kenya
