Many nursing groups were dismayed and angry at the decision, after years of lobbying with both chambers of congress. The Leni being a puppet of the LP resonated deeply with many nurses. They believed that Leni will not address the poor work/ salary conditions of nurses here.

A flagrant example of this is when RNs in private hospital do procedures: IV insertion, NGT insertions, Foley Cath insertion, we dont get compesated. Meanwhile, when an MD does the same procedures, a professional fee is reflected on the patient's bill.

6/ On the 3rd day of doing rounds on him. He provided me is explicit and written consent. We set the disclosure meeting for the following day. But his status deteriorated later that day... and he entered a coma, and continued to deteriorate until the following day when he died.

The veto comes after the time when nurses had to pay for work experience. The situation at the time was too emotionally charged.
