NMR is delighted to announce that we are the first school in Wokingham to achieve a platinum award for sports. This is recognition of our commitment to the development of competition both in school and across the community. Thanks Mrs A for making this happen! π€
Year 6 have arrived safe and well in Ozzy Bay. Dorms are sorted and all the children have enjoyed their first dinner. First activities are already underway with lots of fun being had by all. Roll on the rest of the week. π€π€π€

This eveningβs activity involved a beach walk. The children created beautiful art work using natural materials and Mrs T was on hand to teach us about the physical features of the coastline.
A shoutout to one of our amazing students who learned to grow Cacti during lockdown. She planted over 50 pots with her sister and friend and sold them to raise funds for Cancer Research. They have reached Β£515 so far which is such a wonderful achievement. Well done! π€
Some of the children of key workers who are unable to stay at home have been busy in school today, celebrating the important work and dedication of their parents by creating a beautiful NMR rainbow!

The first Active Learning visit to the Madejski stadium saw some of our Year 6 pupils learn facts about the stadium and then participate in a quiz. The children had an amazing time!
