I visited Camp Bondsteel to meet🇬🇧Soldiers from the Princess of Wales’s Royal Regiment who have been in 🇽🇰as part of an annual exercise. They are now under NATO Command &will be joined by a further 200 soldiers from the 🇬🇧Strategic Reserve Force commitment in the coming days. 1/2

Today, on the 21st anniversary of @NATO troops entering 🇽🇰 in 1999, I had the great honour, together with Lt. Col. Martin Browning, to lay flowers at the Memorial plaque for NATO soldiers who fell in 🇽🇰 in 1999. Martin was among the first British troops to enter 🇽🇰 21 yrs ago.

For many people in Kosovo, the trial beginning today is a moral challenge. I have visited many memorials throughout the country and in too many cases the victims they commemorate are still denied justice. 1/
