Put it off long enough- had to get the iCE car out of the garage and give it a spin/get some ⛽️. Man what a work up: 5 mins to ⛽️ station. 4/5 mins wait for a ‘charger’ as not all working. 5 mins queue waiting to pay. Then 1st till card reader not working #effort 250 mls £70 🙄

@mrbobdaly Ha. Well it happens a lot. I’m a used dealer. Ice cars and evs. Both sell fine. Batteries do not need replacing despite the bollocks some spout. Used eVs are great value and much better cars. Quicker, quieter, nicer to drive and much more reliable.

@SawyerMerritt The “260 mile” range Model Y’s built over the past several months actually have more range that can be unlocked for $1500 to $2000 (gains 40 to 60 miles of range), depending on which battery cells you have. Working through regulatory approvals to enable this.

Just had to deliver this petrol Toyota. 40 mile trip. Already had about a tenner in the tank when I filled it up for the customer. So, this CVT delight (with flappy paddles) can do about 80 miles more than my eV. The sound of it accelerating and the slushy gearbox was

As a used car dealer, we hear this so often. Yet people mostly ignore the advice they ask for from me, and go get a hybrid anyway. 🤪 Friends and acquaintances too! It does make me giggle a bit. 🤭 They always come back at a later date and say this. #goBeV not hybrid

It looks like the recent fire that destroyed over 200 cars near Lisbon airport was in fact started by an ICE vehicle. At the time many Portuguese MSM outlets claimed it was started by an electric vehicle, which was simply false.

Even when it's quite chilly the eNiro returns 250+ miles per charge with all heating on etc... Going in for it's 90,000 mile service soon. 😃⚡

So if you haven't got a home charger - and you probably didn't buy your EV with a nice company discount - the cost of running an EV on public chargers is up to 24p per mile as opposed to 17 for diesel and 16 for petrol!!! It's a painful future for the less well off car buyer ...
