Reading - club hanging by a thread
Carlisle - relegated to League Two
Morecambe - facing financial strife
Oxford City, Dorking and Kidderminster - all relegated to national league south
But sure, losing one game when you're *third* in the *Premier League* is "the bad"
Nothing screams modern football more than doing an all-star skills challenge in a flourescent, rubbish kit miles away from your core fanbase to satisfy the vast pockets of the Kroenke's and corporate broadcasters. What happened to playing Barnet in a friendly?
Good goal but loses credibility because he didn't go to the away end and celebrate in front of them. Will never understand why footballers don't, very odd behaviour
Little old Barnet making two players that have ran the show in a play-off semi final against a team that got 96 points and were top of the league for large parts of the season.
My club, so so proud.
This group and Dean Brennan though, delivered something I didn't see coming and reunited club, players and fans. Whatever happens in the play offs, it's been a great season with lovely memories. Been a long time since I felt this good about Barnet, and its so fun
*This* is what football's all about; young lads having their time of their life after a priceless away win on the road having made the effort to travel. And that's the most important thing, making memories.
Football's some sport ❤️

It has been an emotional week to be a Reading fan.
One of the founding principles of SBWD is that we would never tell people how not to protest - but this is our plan for tomorrow.
Back the team from the first whistle, on the pitch at the final whistle.
History has a funny
Think tonight was one of the best barnet away ends I've ever been in. Loud, passionate and at times, electric. Regardless of the result, there's something happening here and the away end reflects that. Felt a pleasure to be in it
What a football club we are. Years and years of misery since that day at Underhill vs Wycombe and now it feels like we've got our Barnet back. Couldn't love this club anymore, we deserve this
All the miles travelled, grounds visited, games gone to, money spent to get served up that in undoubtedly the biggest game of the season. I'd be lying if I said I don't feel let down.
Shut up you weirdo, they've just come to the beach for a nice day out. Just because they're in traditional dress doesn't make them any less Welsh or British.
Going to games is the greatest thing you can do in life, there's something so comforting, communal and beautiful about filing into a home/away end, singing the songs, seeing your mates, going to new places and watching your team. Nothing in life comes close to it
Grim this, the FA CUP should always be on free to air television and the fact it won't be for much longer further shows the move of football especially at the top level away from being for everyone to being for those that can afford it
🚨 TNT Sports will be the new home of the Emirates FA Cup from 2025/26 ⚽️
Watch more games than ever before from the world’s oldest national football competition 🏆

On a more positive note, couldn't love this club anymore. Gutted it didn't work out today but we're still going places and I'm loving following this team. Still got the play offs, and I'm behind the lads every step of the way. Barnet. Till. I. Die
They shall not grow old, as we that are left grow old,
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn,
At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
We will remember them
Try getting up at 5:20 to go to the Hive to travel all the way to Gateshead to be 3-0 down after 21 minutes, equalise in the 90+12th minute, lose on penalties and not be home until gone midnight.
Its not the same and it never will be
Seen a few Arsenal fans complaining about staying past 3am for a (preseason) game.
This is what Asian, Australian and American football fans across different fanbases do almost on a weekly basis, yet a lot of these guys are considered "fake fans" by many.
Following our piece on Northampton's Hotel End
What lost home terrace would you love to stand on for just 1 more match given the chance?
Can be UK or overseas, a stand that's been converted to seating or gone completely. Add pics if you can.

This is for all those of us that were at Northampton, cried after Wycombe, endured the 2020/21 season, all those poundings in Brennan's first season, the debacle before and after Southend away in 2022, and have stuck by the club. We deserve this *so* much
Very strange opinion this, the pub is one of the greatest things in our country and should always be respected, visited and protected. Imagine thinking otherwise, long live the pub and it takes a sad person to think this
AFTV being needlessly disrespectful, dismissive and unaware that football exists outside the premier league? Well I for one am shocked. Ignorance of the highest order especially when you remember that Plymouth finished last season on 101 points, 82 goals and won 31 games.

We won the league at anfield, we won it at the lane,
Stamford Bridge, Old Trafford,
No one can say the same,
Mikel Arteta's army, We're Arsenal through and through,
We'll sing it in the North Bank, and in the clock end too
Probably not the first to say this today but how good does it feel to have a Barnet team that fights and takes it to the big boys like this one does. Didn't give Wrexham anything all game and were mightily unlucky not to win. Such a contrast to previous seasons.
Get in there Bees, 6 wins in a row in all competitions. Safe to say we're flying now, the signing of Harry Smith looks to be an inspired one. This season continues to get better and better, Wembley anyone?
We've had some wonderful feedback from people about Seb's pitch invasion story with his grandad. Family stories, personal anecdotes, and general thank yous. We've loved reading them all.

Result aside, was a thoroughly enjoyable day today. Was so heartwarming to walk around the concourse and see so many familiar faces. Make no mistake, this club is alive again and is well and truly on the up. 664 reflects that, and the fact that positivity is still abound does too
Brilliant performance today, professional and composed. Thought we were very good, barely gave them anything. Not ashamed to say I got a bit emotional during that 'We're top of the league' singalong. *So* good to be top, just gotta stay there now
We can confirm that Harry Pritchard has today departed the club.
Everyone at our club would like to thank Harry and wish him the very best!

Only a friendly but I'm walking back to the tube feeling positive about Barnet and given I've watched us since 2007, I'm not taking that for granted. V excited for Halifax away now, bring it on 🐝

When I walked out of Hayes Lane after bromley away, I thought we were dead and buried and certainly going down given how poor we were so to be sitting 14th and with 1 defeat in 7, is pretty remarkable. Credit to the boys and brennan for this, it's much more enjoyable.
Get in there, huge win that. Is that our Luisma Villa Alfreton moment? Not great first half, better second half and Callum Stead continues to impress. What a signing, can't help but properly believe now. Onto Saturday, get me to Dorking
