The word "reverted" (when referring to converts to Islam) is so gross and cult-y. It implies that everyone is Muslim by default and that those who aren't Muslim are dissociated from their natural state. It's a form of Islamic imperialism.

Everyone hates Hasidic Jews, but when they see the Neturei Karta, who are a tiny (and excommunicated) percentage of Hasidic Jews, they're suddenly like "Oh wow look at these REAL Jews who stand for REAL JUDAISM." They only like Hasidic Jews when they could tokenize them.

It seems like Palestinians only claim to be Canaanites, Philistines, descendants of Ancient Israelites, etc. when people question why Palestinian identity occurred so recently. Do they have any holidays commemorating their Ancient Israelite ancestry? Any Philistine traditions?

Jews are portrayed as "white" by people who don't like white people because Jews are always placed in the demonized category. Using terms like "white Jew" and "Jew of Color" only creates a false "good Jew" vs "bad Jew" dichotomy and serves to make antisemitism acceptable.

My husband is a convert to Orthodox Judaism, and I once asked his rabbi how they make sure they aren't converting people who are antisemitic. He said that Orthodox conversions are done in such a way that those who are antisemitic would flee.

The Greeks Hellenized the Temple, which is like how the Muslims built Al Aqsa on top of the Temple Mount. Islamization is modern Hellenization.
