People questioning what is it that the blind person is looking at. Okay first of all, blindness ada tahap dia okay. They label them as B1 B2 and so on. Not so sure how it is, but it’s possible that this person memang boleh nampak at least sikit. Bukan you tak nampak terus

I have cerebral palsy Not only that, i had an operation when i was 11 bcs of my clogged up salivary gland. Had another operation when i was 17 that resulted to my leg being longer than the other. Almost lost my dad And i’m still here now doing my master’s Alhamdulillah.

Self love is really really important especially if you are a person with disability (PwD). Belajar untuk terima apa “kelainan” yang ada pada diri and search for your own “kelebihan”. Don’t focus too much on the kelainan tu sampai you tak nampak kelebihan yang ada.

To me as a language student and also a disabled, i prefer orang kelainan upaya. Why? Bcs when you say lain, means the person has other speciality despite being disabled. But for kurang, the negative connotation that the person is actually disabled is much stronger on them

Also, saja la nak highlight kat sini. They’ve been labelling that elaun as elaun pekerja cacat since forever. And dah banyak kali juga OKUs in Malaysia highlight about this. But then, language doesn’t have an impact on us right? 🤷🏻‍♀️ so sampai sekarang tak ada la perubahan
