IPFS is not Pinata any more than Ethereum is Infura, and honestly I wish way more people understood that. IPFS isn't magic, there's no real financial incentive to pin stuff long term, you can and will lose data relying on altruism. Paying 3rd party to pin stuff is basically S3

The full node setup for Fantom $FTM is 1,000 times easier than Polygon $MATIC. Fantom basically consists of running a geth clone with a few extra parameters, and it's actually documented... Two nodes syncing now.

The viability of Ethereum archive nodes is getting worse and worse by the day. BSC, Polygon, and the L2s are absolutely fucked. Ethereum itself is not great. Only Erigon even cares about the situation but even Erigon is becoming a support nightmare with all the bugs.

14/ Unless we're all happy with staking pools controlling everything like mining pools do today, this is a piss poor test of network conditions. You guys know how everyone makes fun of ETH killers and their centralized IOPS because they only have a handful of nodes?
