i think you actually fail to realize that a lot of us were rwrb fans First and then since you all make it so fucking embarrassing to enjoy it we’ve tried to distance ourselves.

matthew reduced his character to nothing but biracial and bisexual and cut all the gut wrenching lore that makes him interesting. i think it’s questionable to reduce a character who people love for his mental illness, his drive, his loyalty etc to not flesh him out or
@hearrtlessv
so now it's matthew's fault that you don't feel empathy for alex. okay. whatever helps you sleep. if the word "racist" bothers you that much, maybe do some self reflection. and i'm a brown latina btw.
then when we critique the movie (which was not as good as it could have been) and the sequel (which is a money grab) for the content that it is (badly paced, weirdly written, over rehearsed, stiff and sanitized) yall literally attack for no reason
truly rwrb helped me through a really tough time in my life and pulled me out of one of the worst depressive episodes of my life and i’ll always love it but sometimes you people make it so hard to say anything about it without claws coming out.
The year is halfway over, so we're taking stock of the movies that have made a lasting impression on us, from 'Challengers' to 'Dune: Part Two' and June Squibb's action-star turn in 'Thelma.'
