@caseysean51 When Bruce left Sunderland there were no reports of escorts or coins being thrown. This was only mentioned later by Bruce only, just like how he was hounded out because of his ‘Geordie roots’, despite being full supported the 2 seasons previously. Always got an excuse has Bruce.

@NoSaudiToon Absolutely amazing how the #premierleague allowed the #Saudi state to buy *NUFC. It’s bad enough when wealthy clubs dominate, but at least most tend to generate their own wealth. How are clubs supposed to compete with a foreign state? *NUFC - heavily state subsidised since 2021.

@c00sto @e7thn @Jayb1970NUFC True, and the board of directors are all appointed by the state, the chair of the board is the state supreme ruler. As the club is therefore state owned, the assurances given to the PL were that the state would not get involved in decisions made by the club.

The state are now claiming in American courts that PIF are a state instrument. Sounds like the PL were lied to. Time for the state to sit the OD test if they wish to continue.

@MarkyToonToon @mrjakehumphrey Where do you get the top 4/6 from? Newcastle’s average league finish is 14th. Ashley had to pick up the pieces from the Hall spending era which was unsustainable. He may be an odious man, but he stabilised the club and stopped it from doing a Leeds.

However Newcastle aren’t owned by anyone, they are owned by a foreign state and a state cannot pass the owners and directors test. As the Newcastle fans kept saying, the #PremierLeague is corrupt, how else could this have been sanctioned

@TalalAlHammad32 Sounds like what you need is a squad of 1st team players that you could rotate so players can have a break. Another idea would be to have an Under 23 team so you could utilise those players. If you have limited resources, don’t field key players in cup games, use fringe players.
