UPSC should give one time waiver to Aspirants of UPSC 2023 by reducing the CSAT cut-off to 20-23%, given the difficulty level of the paper was disproportionate and bound to affect the career of deserving candidates who performed well in GS #unfairCSAT2023 #csat #UPSC2023 #UPSC

Coaching industry will not be shifted to Narela. There is a big real estate lobby behind that cannot afford to lose the property prices here, including some MPs and MLAs. Also, big coachings have invested a fortune to either buy/rent/renovate the buildings after COVID.

What you talked about and what's the current issue are different. You talked about UPSC as a career option, but currently, the students are protesting about the nexus of MCD, Coaching and brokers. Students are not questioning their choice of UPSC as a career option.

I disagree with the notion that IAS/IPS are "PREMIER" services. Yes, the jobs can be given to the Divyangjan on the basis of their disability, but to claim that they're field jobs and hence shouldn't be given to them is unfair. Majority of the jobs in India are field jobs.

The Delhi ORN incidence should be an eye opener for the parents. You don't have to bow down to the wishes of your kids everytime in the name of success and career. Please think about the pros and the cons and see if the preparation for UPSC can be done from the hometown.

Scam with UPSC Aspirants: 1. Broker on day 1 - make a 6 months agreement. Live here for 6 months. If you like it then extend it else leave it. 2. After 6 months - student wants to live here and extend the contract 3. To Renew the contract you'll pay revised rent + brokerage

Apparently, the government calculates the cost of life of the UPSC aspirant on the basis of the vote bank and coachings calculate his cost on the basis of: if he is a fresher, can he repeat the batch, will he take mentorship - life of an UPSC aspirant is too cheap!
