This guy and his crew were there reporting live from outside the MCG before the Men’s #T20WorldCup game between India and Pakistan in 2022. What’s stopping him from going to the UAE and asking questions to the women’s team? It’s a much shorter journey and a much cheaper stay.

I’m not destined to watch a men’s international cricket match in a stadium. Booked tickets for a double-header at MCG during last year’s T20 World Cup. Both matches got washed out. Had passes for 4th & 5th days of the #INDvAUS Delhi Test. Match got over on the 3rd day.

#Delhi has many flaws, but its food is not one of them. I had three meals of the day in a single meal, but the food was so good, it was worth it. Madam Chutney in GK II is highly recommended for North Indian/street food/regional dishes. Day 1 of 2023 delivered!

Usman Khawaja grew up in Australia, has been playing cricket for Australia for years, is the Australian Test Player of the Year. But he couldn’t travel to India with the rest of the Australian team due to a delay in his visa. Why? Because he was born in Pakistan. What bullshit!

The things that the Delhi Metro has made accessible to women in the city range from something as basic as education to the freedom to travel by themselves. Nothing in India is affordable to 100% of the population. That cannot be the parameter of the relevance of something.

I happened to be sitting across two young cricketers in the Delhi Metro today. I had a little chat with them and got to know that one of them, Bharti, has played for the Delhi U19 team. She now wants the @DelhiCapitals to get a #WIPL team and hopes to play for them one day.
