Non-profit organization amplifying stories to confront student-athlete mental health. A community by and for athletes to provide a platform for advocacy. 🦋
Morgan’s Message officially turns 2 years old today! 🦋
Thank you doesn’t even begin to cover it! We are so blessed to have such a special and loving community.
Here’s to many more years of growth & working to equalize the treatment of physical and mental health in athletics.
• Morgan D. Rodgers | May 27, 1997 - July 11, 2019 •
Three years ago on this date, we tragically lost our beloved daughter, sister, friend, and teammate, Morgan Rodgers, to suicide.
Today Morgan’s family and friends gathered in her hometown of Warrenton, Virginia to officially dedicate a turf field in her honor. On the field we may be competitors but we are all on the same team - fighting to change the stigma surrounding mental health.

Morgan would have turned 26 today alongside her beloved twin, Aberle Bridges, or “womb mate” as they liked to call one another… 🤍🦋
Morgan’s Message is sending thoughts and prayers out to the entire UVA and Charlottesville communities; specifically the friends, family and loved ones of Lavel Davis Jr., D'Sean Perry, and Devin Chandler.
