Heartbroken 💔 as some of you know I am away on holiday with my partner Graham - yesterday he died aged 56 no illness no warning… Life has stood still since a blur of phone calls. I’m being well looked after by the travel company just awaiting coroners report to bring him home

Selling property 🤬🤬🤬 buyer just withdrew at exchange contract stage as can’t afford stamp duty! Am so cross at the time wasted. Stamp duty has never changed throughout the process. Suggested I could accept less 🤬 told them to do one!

Today has been a better day, coroner rang and has confirmed a 2nd pm will be done as the Greek reports are inconclusive as to cause of death, such a relief someone has listened. His daughter & her Mum have also visited me was so good to see them lots of shared tears & memories

Visited G today in chapel of rest.Told him off for leaving us, told him how loved he was brought him up to speed & told him not to be late on Monday! It’s helped I feel a weight has been lifted & I’m at peace with what’s happened. Hair been cut so good to go.

I have a funeral to attend this morning. One of my old friends in the village. She was 86 & had succumbed to her cancer. I’m unsure how I feel going so soon to the church I said my final goodbye to G. But Cynthia was a lovely lady full of life & wisdom so I will be there

I was dreading the funeral yesterday. Upon entering church much deep breathing ensued, heart racing, eyes full of tears but it was ok. She’d lived her life, the church was full of love, the community had come together to say goodbye. Dog walk first then garage,for new tyres 😔

So today Ive been kind to myself. Scrambled eggs & smoked salmon for brunch, dusted & vacuumed downstairs, sorted my sock drawer 🙄😂& had a long leisurely shower. Still blowing a hooly but on a positive note the days start to get longer from today. Today is a better day 👍

So Aviva are excelling themselves just now, as he died intestate I can’t cancel a house insurance policy for a property sold 30 June! As I’m only his partner I’ve suggested we have a seance then we can ask him direct to instruct them!!! You couldn’t make this stuff up🤷🏼‍♀️

Today would have been Mum’s 87th birthday. She succumbed to cancer 28/7/2023. She’d lived a full & relatively healthy life until being diagnosed with cancer in Jan 2023. I grew up in a home full of love. I miss her kindness & presence…

3 months today since G died… Had the best day though with one of my besties and her dog. Got the grand tour of her new home then we walked the dogs down by the river, Sybil must have had 20 dips! After 5 mile walk we had lunch. Always so good to walk & talk under blue skies.

This is my Mum who is no longer with us after succumbing to cancer back in July. She was so full of love, fun & wisdom. Tomorrow will be difficult but I will celebrate her life. A life well lived… Miss you Mum ❤️

Swim done, pool quiet. Difficult visit as I’ve not been since G died. He was a volunteer here and cleaned & opened the pool early mornings for them. It was ok😊 I shall resume my twice weekly visits
