Thinking about that time when a lady & her baby were being chased down our street by a neighbors 2 pit bulls. My mom opened the door and yelled at the lady to come in and she yanked her baby out of the stroller and sprinted inside our house while the dogs attacked our door.

I know a lot of y’all are against it, but my 3 yr old is starting preschool in September at our church and he is SO excited. He wont stop talking about “free school” 🤣 It’s 9-11:30 M/W/F and our pastor’s wife is the lead teacher so I’m very comfortable with it.

@antipersonhood My brother was born with anencephaly. He lived 31 minutes! My parents held and loved him all 31 minutes. My grandpa used to say my parents poured more love into him in his short time here than some people receive in a lifetime.

Ngl, I never understood when moms said they couldn’t even shower with a newborn bc I was like “just wrap your baby up and put them in a crib and shower.” My first never had any trouble with it. This baby will not let me out of her sight for more than 2 seconds. I understand now🥴

My friend in Canada is 38 weeks pregnant and they induced her but she wasn’t dilated or effaced at all and she’s been in the hospital for 2 days and now baby isn’t reacting well to pitocin so they are doing a c-section I feel like that could have been avoided had they waited 😔

@harmonizedgrace Worked at a vet. Had a nice family come in often with a couple pits. One day we get an emergency call - they snapped and all started attacking each other and members of the family. Had to be sedated to be put down through a crate. My mind will never be changed about them.

Since we switched E’s formula, she has gone from drinking 3oz at a time to 6-8oz, from screaming all day to laughing and smiling. Her mucus-y cough has disappeared. Her eczema is gone. Sleeping 12 hrs at night and back to taking two 2hr naps. Praise the Lord.

Tomorrow would have been my brother’s 25th birthday. He had anencephaly and lived for 31 minutes after birth. We are doing a family brunch and then a seafood boil tomorrow to remember him and celebrate the end of summer. I can’t wait to see all my family 😌
