@LukhonaMnguni 30% stake in Mxit was bought by Naspers who then sold control to a consortium headed by Alan Knott Craig junior. But closed down in 2015. Failed to make leap from feature phones to smartphones. By that stage WhatsApp etc was cleaning up. Missed opportunity for SA business.

If you're a foreign national in SA then #ActionSA 's strong showing will confirm your worst fears that xenophobia is not some fringe SA thing. Like with Trump, Johnson, Orban, Erdogan et al, right wing populism & hatred of 'the other', is increasingly rewarded at the polls.
