On 18Aug,unknown truck driver was found lying unconscious at NH54 Mizoram.Despite covid19 volunteers took him to ZMC&he was found covid+ve.On learning that the ill-fated driver didn't hav money,Mizo drivers sought contribution&were able to hand over the initial amount of ₹12,700

In response to ITLF call for help, the Health&FW Dept,Mizoram Govt donated medicines&med provisions valued at Rs.500,000 incl ₹2lacs worth dialysis consumables to District Hospital,Lamka,Manipur. A group of compassionate Mizo doctors contributed ₹2lacs for this vital supplies.

In #Manipur , 60 slain Zo civilians stored in morgues in #Imphal were flown back to their respective districts in Churachandpur&Kangpokpi for their final rites on Thursday. Another four dead bodies of Meiteis killed in the conflict were also airlifted from Churachandpur to Imphal.

A truck owned by MTDA Gen.Secy. Pu Bena carrying relief materials for Manipur Zofate met with an accident at Saichal village in Mizoram. Luckily, there was no casualty. On hearing the news of the accident,members of Saichal br. YMA rushed to the spot &helped with the rescue ops.

The number of #Myanmar refugees at #Zokhawthar village alone on Indo-Myanmar border reaches 1000. The four school buildings which have been used to house them are at full capacity now. As more refugees entered the village daily, volunteers are constructing new relief camps to 1/2
