Naruto vs Gaara is actually such an unironically underrated conflict because of how early it takes place in the series. Battles/parallels in Shippuden tend to be the biggest topic for discussion, but man did Kishimoto absolutely nail the dynamic between Naruto and Gaara so quick.

@TheBrokenRonin It was fine at the start of the series for arcs like the Sports Festival, but when they kept it for the Villain arc it just became a question of why lol. They just need to dim down that brightness, a similar look to the Naruto v Sasuke fight at least. Blue skies can work.

Speaking of Live Action, I always thought Bleach had a good go at it back in 2018. The story didn't try to handle too much at once, and visually it looked pretty great. Especially with the hollows. Perfectly captured their fearsome and otherworldly presence down to the bone.

No hate, but this really does feel like criticism someone who hasn't watched/read the series would say. If anything, the rise of technology has built upon one of the core concepts from original Naruto with shinobi being used as tools. It's a much more beneficial addition.

The art in Chainsaw Man just isn't pleasant to look at anymore for me, and that really sucks considering I loved Fujimoto's artstyle. Not saying every single page is bad, but the thick line art makes things feel so stiff and awkward. Action scenes also become just way too messy.
