That’s it, my time as GM of The Pars has come to an end.
It’s been some journey! I wish all the players, staff and directors all the very best, it’s been an honour. 🏁👍🏼

Today we also remember Gary Riddell who died on 11th June 1989.
Gary sadly died during the Dunfermline half marathon. He was raising funds for the families of Hillsborough disaster.

“Football is for the fans. It can be the greatest game in the world but if there are no people to watch it, it becomes nothing. The fans are the lifeblood of the game.”

Great to meet Pars fanatic, Cathy Campbell earlier today, ahead of her 100th Birthday this Saturday! 🍾🎂
Cathy was a season ticket holder up until she was 94. 😎👍🏼
📸 Cracking photo of Sir Alex Ferguson in 1963 during his spell at East End Park.
The most successful period of his playing career before moving to his boyhood heroes, Rangers.
🗓️ 25 Years ago today since Norrie McCathie sadly passed away. Remember meeting him in Dunfermline town outside the East Port Bar just days before his sad passing.
His spirit certainly lives on....
Strange and almost numb feeling that the season is officially over. Gutted for everyone tonight, especially our fans who travelled in unbelievable numbers.
Planning now starts for next season! 🏁

Very lucky to be gifted this player issue shirt from 1968-1970.
Worn by Jim Fraser by the looks of it. Complete with number 4 and bukta label (collar and cuffs faded due to age).
Will be framed up in future for the mancave. 🙌🏻
22 Years tomorrow since Norrie McCathie sadly passed away. Remember meeting him in Dunfermline town just days before his sad passing. His spirit certainly lives on....
Looking forward to another new project with the Dunfermline Athletic Former Players Association kicking-off. Walking down the Halbeath Road podcast.

Wow 🏁🍻☀️
BIG game at East End Park Saturday against Dumbarton, the weekend also marks the 50th anniversary of 1968...
Some great things are lined up too. More to follow this week!
Dunfermline Athletic is so far away from the club l feel in love with under Bert Paton and Dick Campbell.
I hope the new owners can sniff out the problem, it’s fairly obvious. 😣
Lookout for this new feature in the matchday programme next season, current players profiling shirts throughout the years with article profiling iconic players, results etc. 😎📸
Great to spend some time with this legend today, Alex Smith.
In good spirits pictured with his 1961 Scottish Cup winning shirt.
Podcast will be available in the future.
🙌🏻 Unbelievable, Colin Miller has confirmed he will fly over from Canada to attend the Paton’s Premier Pars reunion brunch on Sunday 20th March.
12 of the playing staff have already confirmed including

Hey guys,
As announced by the club, my contract has come to an end and so does this wonderful adventure. It was a great honor to wear this jersey and represent this club every single time I had the chance to.
📸 What a great photo!

He would find himself dropped for the final against Celtic after a disagreement with manager Willie Cunningham.

The Dunfermline Athletic Former Players Association will announce this fantastic event shortly to mark the 25th Anniversary of the league winning team from 1995/96. This was also the sad season we lost big Norrie.

The best manager in Dunfermline Athletic's history sadly past on this day 35 years ago.
Jock Stein brought the Scottish Cup back to Dunfermline for the first time in the club's history in 1961 and brought European football to East End Park.

📸 A shrine of scarfs and memorabilia from clubs all over Scotland was quickly laid outside the main entrance to the stand on Halbeath Road in a mark of respect after the sad news broke of Norrie's passing.
#NorrieMcCathie
Sad news on the passing of Neale Cooper. Made over 100 apperances for the Pars between 1991 - 1996. Including winning the 95/96 Bells First Division title under Bert and Dick.
Thoughts are with his friends and family.
A German company buys a 30% share in Dunfermline Athletic, with an option to take over the club, in a move hailed as "an enormous step forward" by chairman Ross McArthur.
🎙 Great to catch up with this former Par recently who spoke fondly of his 5 years at East End Park and revealed the real story of his controversial move to St Johnstone in 1994.
Promises to be a belter!
