Day 93: 20 mi to the 1000 MILE MARKER, I had plans to do a big day and push to get to a certain point, but I got to 1000 mi and was simply done hiking, going home tomorrow for a few days to see my dog and beautiful wife and I cannot wait, also I’ve lost a few lbs

In late '22 a few months after my hike I didn't get a job I was an obvious fit for and I was crushed, confidence took a big hit and continued to do so for some time after, I found out tonight w/ 100% certainty that it would have been a disaster and I'm in a much better spot now
