Trump’s incessant lying, the incomprehensible gibberish, the preposterous QAnon conspiracy theories, the dog whistles &hate talk - it’s almost literally “Newspeak” from Orwell’s 1984, complete with “doublethink” (“IGNORANCE IS STRENGTH”) and grotesque efforts at “reality control”
