I can’t believe that I am saying this, but I wouldn’t mind if MLS went away and we were forced to start over. Their presence is incredibly toxic and we are worse off for their existence.

I encourage people to boycott MLS on every level. I don't like it, but Garber has made it clear that you have to take sides - the love of the game or MLS. Garber has already decided that only 1 will survive. We have to choose which side we are on.

@11Yanks Gregg’s roster and lineup decisions. He is a good man manager, but that won’t matter if he doesn’t drop his stubbornness. He has shown that he can make good choices when backed against a wall, but goes back to bad habits when he perceives margin for error.

@MichaelBattista @hudsonriverblue When you make a decision to go against anyone who loves American soccer, in favor of only courting those who "like" American soccer or like spectacles, you are creating your ceiling. I already don't watch MLS, but if the US Open Cup goes down, I will turn openly hostile to MLS.

@theUSLshow I’ve lost interest in MLS, but not the Open Cup. I will continue to support anything that promotes/embraces the future of American soccer. At the moment, the Open Cup embraces the future of American soccer, but MLS doesn’t. MLS is looking to kill off anything that they don’t own.

@AgentSmith34 $500 million franchise fees leading owners to a sense of entitlement that they get to do whatever they want. A WWE/Ice Capades approach to a league where everyone paying the salary of the top players and the league rule. These are toxic habits for a competitive league.

They are trying to play good soccer, the player pool strengthens every year and the clubs figure out more and more every year (youth clubs field adult teams, clubs charge admission, clubs on social media, etc).

Just so that I am clear (not that anyone, except me cares) - I am done with Cindy Parlow Cone. She has been an incredible disappointment and she should be viewed as an obstacle to American soccer moving forward. Don Garber is an enemy of American soccer, Parlow Cone an obstacle.
