Coming Soon: My new podcast, Not Just Cricket 🏏
I will talk great players, notable fans and aficionados who have been inspired by sport and gone on to great things
Launch is Feb 18th when I'll be joined by the one & only
@imVkohli
One of the greatest ever wins by
@BCCI
- to come back from being bowled out for 36 and ridiculed; to have 8 players missing and to finish it off at the Gabba where no touring team has won since 1988 - wow!
The more you think about the achievement of this series win the better it gets. Like the Aussies in the 90’s and early 2000’s
@BCCI
could put two teams into international cricket and compete favourably - exciting to see such talent unleashed!
Now the final goodbye to Warney
@ShaneWarne
a genius gone but never forgotten 😪His spirit will live on for all time..A master of his art and the best, most fun and most loyal of friends. It seems barely believable 💔.. salute the King

The countdown is on… the 1st episode of my new podcast series, Not Just Cricket, arrives tomorrow!
I’m with
@imVkohli

That was a good game!

@IamSanjuSamson
is a gun. Plays in beautiful straight lines and with a natural elegance. Great to watch, hope he continues in this vein. If so, he must play for India somehow
Episode 1 of Not Just Cricket is out today 🏏
I’m in conversation with one of the world’s truly great batsmen
@imVkohli
who is candid about his own motivations & challenges, as well as the struggles many cricketers face with mental health.
Listen now:
May you grow up to be righteous/May you grow up to be true/May you always know the truth/And see the light surrounding you/May you always be courageous/Stand upright and be strong/May you stay forever young - we are heartbroken, goodbye Bobby

The

says recreational cricket cannot go ahead because the ball is a vector for disease. Every tennis court in the land is booked from dawn to dusk and the balls are passed from court to court🥺..Go figure? In fact, just go play damnit
Deano was genuinely loved by everyone in the game.. and by the game itself. He was not a man plagued by self-doubt; his theories were gold, whether good or not so good; his enthusiasm was unmatched; his friendship was worldwide
#RIPDeano
"Each of his journeys to the wicket has led to a nervous excitement and each performance has given immense pleasure. India's most precious son has been a gift to the rest of the world too."

Ted Dexter has gone - boyhood hero, teacher and dear friend. He was one of the great players and did as much or more than anyone to drag cricket into the modern age. Charlie Watts and Ted, in the space of 24 hours - icons of the 60’s in very different ways - sadness indeed..
Delhi, Dubai, or any part of the world, we always aim to keep players closer to their families 🤗
Our Chairman & Co-owner,

's stirring surprise made the DC stars emotional and surely brought them joy 😁
Not just a team, a family away from home 💙

Here’s the legendary Malcolm Marshall batting one-handed after injuring his left thumb to help Larry Gomes reach his century during West Indies’ 5-0 ‘blackwash’ over England in 1984.
He only scored four runs but went on to take 7-53 in the next innings.
Iconic.
My desk this morning 👍good toss for Joe Root to win at the start of his 100th Test....Fabulous achievement... one of England’s greats. Morning everyone! We are on talkSPORT 2, download the app and swipe left to listen or search DAB in your radio
The news from Sri Lanka is truly heart breaking. The resilience of these wonderful people is tested again by the tragedy that is humanity at war with itself. Our love is with Sri Lankans far and wide...
Elephants are endangered, no one could be serious about justifying their killing by man... nor rhinos, lions and others so too endangered. It’s that simple!
One of my two most favourite cricket photographs. 🏏📷
Here I’m on the balcony at

Why aren’t these men hunted down? They are muderers, simple as that. The video is shocking but revealing because the killers are captured on film for ever. There is no excuse for not finding them and making them pay
What I learned in Zambia: killing one member can destroy an entire elephant family with grief (long memories, human-like feelings) and, later, starvation. The older elephants that hunters seek out are the ones who know how to find water in times of need
It’s the anniversary of our golden trip with Dereck and Beverly Joubert, and Paul Harris, to Duba Plains in the Okavango Delta. On this day exactly one year ago, we saw this happen....He was fine after, if a little embarrassed 😀🙏!!
Goodbye Alan Igglesden -

bowler, wonderful man.
@KentCricket
and all of us in the game are in awe of your bravery and salute your contribution to the game...Let your soul and spirit fly/Into the Mystic
Where to start? A magnificent series for sure, test cricket shines brightly and the two captains find time to smile. Anderson a master, Cook a maestro. The Oval, the autumn sunshine and a generously Rolling Stone.. wow!
ABD instead of Javed probably...
Pity Sobers didn’t play international one day cricket!
Dhoni has to play, the greatest finisher..don’t mind which of them keeps.
As I think back to the 2015
@ICCWorld
Cup final I think of the incomparable Martin Crowe, a solitary figure in the lengthening shadows at the MCG - a dear friend and great cricketer who left us much, much too soon. Miss you Marty...
And it was stunningly good. Congratulations to all who were behind it and to Keith, Brooke, Jackson and Summer whose beautiful words would have moved Warney to the tears we all cried...
This is gold, Sunny and the great Barry Richards opening together, as they would in my all time team! Brian Lara and a fine innings from the near incomparable Graeme Pollock to follow..

Wonderful day for
@hantscricket
congratulations all. A trip down memory lane for us blokes from the past, though that fielding has us well covered! Bravo!
