Here people losing 40% in a day and still keeping cool. I who have a max DD of 0.82% and a max loss of 0.6% in the quarter, will start losing shit once DD goes over 1%. Though my returns are "just" 15% compared to 1000% of theirs.

To all those asking yesterday, the multi broker feed architecture, here you go! Dedup is based on defining in memory mapping for each instrument, and then calculating the most recent tick and storing that in the DB You can define the dedup window you like 200ms is what I use

As a counter-argument, I find option buying much more scalable than selling. The tail risks are actually none, no flash crashes, no broker exchange down risk. No one can take your money apart from you yourself if you position size well. Discussed the same with @TraderLogical
