Because of feedbacks between vegetation and land, wetlands can store 500 times more carbon per m2 than oceans! Our paper today in @ScienceMagazine @UUCopernicus @UUGeo @UniUtrecht @NIOZnieuws So, these feedbacks need to be conserved and restored.
