Yes! With the next upgrade blocktime will be reduced to 16sec, so with 16 chains, the network will be processing in average 1 block/s. With more chains, it would then process more in average.

Goldshell hasn't yet announced a price for their Alephium miner (nor when the rigs will first be available for purchase). Not sure why the reseller is displaying this price/sold out when miners haven't been released in the first place 😅 Meeting is still happening :) I got

Just to clarify, there is no need for cross-chain transaction on Alephium. All transactions are processed on-chain, on a specific chains depending on the group of the addresses of origin and destination.
Sharding is a term we often hear in the blockchain space, but what does it really mean?
Especially in the context of UTXO and PoW based systems,
@alephium
sharding takes a very unique approach.
Let's dive in! 🧵

Juste pour clarifier, Cheng mentionne qu’il va bosser sur la PR finale pour la submission à Ledger. Une fois la submission faite, le process de review par Ledger peut prendre plusieurs mois 😌 (Selon leur backlog etc)

Alephium isn't going gasless. It will be supporting natively in the VM what the industry (confusingly) calls gasless transactions which basically means the ability for 3rd parties to pay for users transactions. So it doesn't affect the gas market of Alephium or dex transactions.

Data doesn't seem correct on Alph pro if you look at the data from you can see there are currently over 221K+ addresses holding ALPH. We will add those stats to the explorer.
If you also check the number of holder of wrapped ALPH on Eth, it similarly

I've re-read the whole thread you're referring to again just to be sure and I don't see any statement from the core devs (but I might have missed it). I was just sharing the last official statement regarding ANS that I knew of. It's been on that repo for quite some time now.

Not really, the stance was that for any name service to be supported in the wallet it should at minimum meet the requirements outlined here …

Currently, all transaction fees are burned and PoLW does include a burn mechanism, we touched on this during the interview.
