I’m going to criticise the club here. You’ve brought a player up, put them through a medical but then rejected the loan late in the day because of fear over whether he’ll be fit then gone chasing other options. You’d have known he was carrying an injury before a medical. Poor.

Final point on the Simmo debate. The Piataks investment is fantastic but it’s pointless if fans don’t come to watch. Any club suffering the season we did last year wouldn’t be getting 9k still and consistently 7k + last season. That goodwill won’t last forever.
