Exactly. The solution isn’t to vote for a candidate just because of gender, it’s to vote for who we think is the best candidate. And sometimes it might be a guy, sometimes it might be a gal.
@tassoula
@SarahEMcBride
Agree 100% about the imbalance, which was created in large part by gender-based voting. I don’t think two wrongs make a right. You do. Guess we’ll have to agree to disagree.

TIME had a really good article recently on more U.S. women running for office at various levels, which is great and needed. But I stand by my belief that our duty is to vote for the best candidate, regardless of gender, race, sexual preference, political party, etc.
Got an email today from Ancestry saying they found a new DNA match for me.
It's my biological dad.
Got lightheaded and almost passed out when I saw that on the web page. So glad to finally have a name. 🙌
The amount of trust signals that NerdWallet puts in every article is remarkable -- but also needed when you're in the "Your Money, Your Life" space.
Users love this stuff. And that's why Google does, too. This one ranks

The woman is a friend of my wife's -- another real estate agent. She had just finished an open house and had grabbed some lunch. She parked her car to eat and listen to the Ravens football game before getting back to work, when she saw the guy practicing his skateboard tricks.
If Live Nation and Ticketmaster send out a press release about how successful today’s U2 ticket sales went, I will not be responsible for my actions.

MY DAUGHTER JUST GOT ACCEPTED TO A COLLEGE SHE LOVES ... wait, it says "ACCEPTED WITH DISTINCTION" which I think means they're gonna rename the campus after her, right? 🤩❤️🙌
With all due respect for the Saints and Patriots and everyone else, how about we just schedule the Rams and Chiefs in the Super Bowl?

When he was 14, Weston Mazey suffered a brain injury while playing baseball.
He thought he'd never play again, but with the help of doctors, he made it back onto the field in just few months.
This is what the opposing team did in his first at-bat.
This is very kind of them to say.

And to B, E, L, and A: Thanks for July 29, 2015, in NYC. ❤️

It feels even longer now ha ha!
Thanks Matt, thanks for all those insightful posts & pokes!

Cal Raleigh for Mayor, Governor, Senator, and President.
Also, he's gonna be a great manager someday. Maybe even a GM.
And he's absolutely right in everything he's said tonight.

My dude, your decorum is appreciated. Thanks for sharing some of your story. Here's some of mine:

The best version, don't you think?
1/6 I had two great phone calls this week that reminded me of something I think needs to be said: There are a LOT of great SEOs in the industry that you've never heard of. They're just working hard, day-in & day-out, absolutely killing it for their companies and/or clients. :-)
34 years ago today I saw my first U2 concert at the Spectrum in Philly. Had 4th row floor seats on Adam's side. I snuck in one of those Kodak Disc cameras (yes, in my pants!) & 10 of my photos came out: Unforgettable night. Start of a wonderful journey.

Is this the best version of WOWY? Or maybe the Zoo TV
15 years ago today, Amazon delivered the first copy of my book. I still remember what it felt like opening that box and seeing my name on the front of a book. 🤯 😍
My mom died 2 years ago today. Miss her like you can't imagine. I recently found three voicemails that she left me in the months before she died. Haven't had the courage to listen yet, but I will soon. She's probably bitching at me about not calling enough, but that's OK. 😆
A 94-year old grandma was celebrating her birthday.
She was alone in the garden of her retirement home, and wasn't allowed to any visitors.
Albert Jones, a utility worker, was outside.
When he found out, he walked over, and serenaded her with this.
Heard someone in the house listening to the full Boy album earlier. Find out it's my wife, and when I ask, she says she's decided to go back and listen to every U2 album in order to "retrace their evolution." That might be the sexiest thing she's ever said. ;-)
U2 fans in 2017: I’m tired of hearing the same war horses played at every show. Mix it up!
U2 fans in 2018: How dare they not play Streets and With Or Without You!!!!
🤣😂🤣
I was at a concert last night -- first one with my iPhone 15 Pro.
The 48MP camera is remarkable. My videos and my still pics are 😍. I'll post some later. (The iPhone 14 was only 12MP.)
On Friday,

For their online graduation, a

A stranger walked by and asked if he could sing along. He happened to be an opera singer.
This is what happened.

31 years ago today, me and
@carimcgee
woke up super early and drove 600 miles to experience U2's Zoo TV tour in Tempe, AZ.
Took about 11 hours with stops for food, gas, etc.
Turned around and drove back home the next morning.
The things you do when you're young.... 😅
So I heard a U2 song today at the airport and kinda enjoyed it. :-)
I mean, there was all kinds of ambient noise -- people talking, PA announcements, etc. -- so I probably only heard about half, but it was good and fine. I was kinda tapping/bopping along with it.
Five years ago today.
I was nervous as hell posting this. Still appreciate all the kind messages I got.
As for the nasty messages...stopped giving a shit about them and the senders pretty quickly.
When I was younger, I didn't really get it when people got emotional about losing a pet. Then our Sparky dog came along. We said goodbye to him yesterday. Not asking for sympathy, just thinking this might help others understand it's real pain -->
Keon was raised by his stepdad.
On Father's Day, he gave him a special surprise — Keon asked if he would legally adopt him as his own.
We can't stop crying.
This is love! 😭😭♥♥

I'm answering a bunch of questions about the history of

(for an online interview I've been asked to do) and enjoying it -- none of the mental health issues of the past couple years. I wish you all could've experienced U2 fandom online in the 1990s. What a time that was.....

@iChris
Not really.
Our family was $82,000 in debt in 2008, probably should've filed for bankruptcy. Took his Financial Peace University, followed the program, made ourselves debt-free by 2012 (aside from our mortgage). Still that way today.
Shared this on Facebook and my personal blog earlier. Thought I'd share it here, too.

In Dubai, an eagle was released from the top of the Burj Khalifa, more than 828m high, with a camera on its back.
Its trainer was ten blocks away.
Within seconds, the Eagle scanned the ground, spotted him, and dove straight into his arms.
In Indiana, a hospital (

My point is that Kerr is a hypocrite for accusing the NFL of forced patriotism when his own league forces players to stand. (Also, the issue is a lot more nuanced than any of the Twitter discussion around it, as per usual.) :-)
