They had to get rid of the Concorde because it was making the jet fuel hoax so absurdly obvious. Concorde’s fuel capacity was claimed to be 31,510 gallons - primarily stored within its wings. That’s equivalent to more than six of the 5,000 gallon jet refueling tanks shown below.
