Started Zerodha account in mid may with 5400 sizing after trading 10 lots in IIFL for 8 months. Increased size to 10800 in September. Quite satisfied with the outcome for 1.5 years of option selling. Major learning has been to have stops in system. Everything else will happen.

Moving back to India for good end of March. Will be able to trade non-expiry days as well as time zone will be a non issue. I am more happy that the health will not be compromised now. Waking at 3 AM on expiry days and others usually had started to take a toll on body.

Last few weeks were quite testing. Almost went blind in left eye. No screen for last 20 days. Sight is affected. Now better but screen exposure has to be limited. Anything can happen ! No eyes, No trading. Risks can come from anywhere.

Bad sleep routine and diet got me hypertension which was fortunately diagnosed early. Will take it easy for a while with trading until back in a grove. Eat well, Sleep well, Be happy. Have an alternate source of income.

Its irrelevant how much capital is used for generating profits as risk profile varies. For me, 25-30% selling options is my expectation. So, I sell penny options. Still, as there are lots of DM on capital used, I use 1.2 - 1.4 Cr based in hedges. I trade only expiries.

I came on public forum and discussed my stock holdings. So, as a fiduciary duty, I let it be known that I have sold my Cadsys holding. Reasons: 1. I got enough liquidity to come out which is rare for SME. 2. I have made more than reasonable return.

Absolute profit holds more importance over ROI on big capital is what I have felt over past 2 months. With this mindset, one can deploy more capital with good confidence. You don't need to compound at 50% on big capital. Not necessary at all.
